Gerri Como graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a degree in Social Work. A licensed Clinical Social Worker, she had been working with children and families for more than 17 years. Gerri has experience working with families in crisis and has a great deal of expertise in the area of trauma and recovery.

Gerri has a private practice and is equipped to perform psychosocial evaluations, including a developmental history. Aside from using a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, Gerri also teaches relaxation techniques, deep breathing exercises and other procedures to deal with trauma in children and adults.
